Police Incident - Eisenhower Rd.

On August 21, 2023 at approximately 6:36 pm, the Stoughton Police Department and Stoughton EMS were dispatched to an address in the 900 block of Eisenhower Rd for a male with a gunshot wound. The Dane County Sheriff's Office sent deputies to assist at the scene as well. The male was pronounced dead on the scene by the Dane County Medical Examiner's Office. Witnesses to this incident have been interviewed by investigators, however the Stoughton Police Department is asking that anyone who may have any additional information contact the Police Department non-emergency line 608-873-3374. Based on information gathered at the scene, there is no threat to the community. This is an active investigation and therefore no further details are being released at this time.
