Dispatch Temporary Operations Change

We are currently experiencing a staffing shortage in our Dispatch Center and are making the following temporary change:

On Saturday, February 10th, 2024, our Dispatch Center and lobby will be closed for a period of 48 hours; beginning on Saturday mornings at 6 AM and ending at 6 AM on Monday morning.  This is a temporary change that will tentatively end on April 29th, 2024.

Our phone lines will be transferred to the Dane County Communications Center. 

The biggest change for the public will be the Communications Center now answering all of our calls and there will be no DMV transactions on Saturdays.

We have concluded our hiring process to fill the vacancies and will return to regular 24/7/365 operations, tentatively, on April 29th, 2024.
